April 2000 – Beginning of the operational activities of the Association, at Iveco seat in Rome
July 2000 – Meeting on “Telematics, Transport and Safety” at Ministry for Public Works seat
November 2000 – Participation at the VII ITS World Congress in Turin at the same stand with the Ministry for Public Works and 5t
January 2001 – Launch of TTS Italia web site www.ttsitalia.it
June 2001 – Presentation of the survey on “State of the art of the ITS Systems in Italy”
September 2001 – Organization on behalf of the Italian Ministry for Infrastructure and Transport of the Italian stand at the VIII ITS World Congress in Sydney
December 2001 – TTS Italia receives from the Italian Ministry for Infrastructure and Transport the mandate to coordinate the first phase of the pilot project eCall “Telematics for emergency calls”, of the National Architecture ARTIST which will be conluded in June 2002
