Technical activities

The technical activities carried out in collaboration with its members represent an important aspect of TTS Italia. In particular, TTS Italia deals with:

• Coordination of Working Groups on strategic issues relating to ITS, with the aim of producing useful and incisive documents to be submitted to the competent institutions in a short time
• Promotion of the interoperability of ITS applications, also through the contribution to standardization activities
• Support for the updating and further development of National Plans on Telematics applied to Transport
• Participation in research and development projects on ITS at national and international level and dissemination of their results
• Carrying out studies/surveys within the National Observatory for monitoring the state of development and dissemination of telematics in Italy
